Clark cleared as Fever host Nigeria in preseason finale

Indiana Fever guard Caitlin Clark is not listed on the injury report for Saturday night's preseason finale against the Nigerian national team. Clark had limped off following a collision with a Dallas Wings player in Thursday's exhibition game at Gainbridge Fieldhouse but returned briefly to make two free throws. She spent the rest of that contest on the sideline.

Clark collided with the Wings player during the April 30 matchup in Indianapolis, prompting a replay review that resulted in a Flagrant 1 foul. The two-time All-Star walked to the bench but appeared to recover enough to shoot free throws before exiting. A string of injuries limited her to 13 games in the 2025 WNBA season, including a groin strain and an ankle bone bruise.

Clark finished Thursday's game with 21 points, the team high, on 2-of-3 three-pointers and 11-of-13 free throws, plus two rebounds, four assists and one steal. The NCAA's all-time leading scorer enters the finale available and in the starting lineup.

Indiana heads into the regular season opener on May 9 against the Wings with a healthier roster. Center Aliyah Boston is set for her debut after missing the first two exhibitions due to an injury from Unrivaled play. Guard Ty Harris also received clearance for Saturday.
